The Treasurers Office is responsible for issuing tax bills and dog licenses to residents.

Tax bills are mailed by July 1st and are due by September 14th and December 1st and due by February 14th. Credit card payments are not accepted in the office. If you wish to pay by credit/debit card you may call 1-800-272-9829, enter your parcel ID number and jurisdiction code 7016; or you may go to www.officialpayments.com. If you need information about homestead exemptions or tax deferments call Tammera at 231-755-3721 ext. 104.

Dog licenses are available from December 1st through March 1st every year at City Hall. If you need information or need to license your dog at other times of the year, call the Muskegon County Health Department at 231-724-1246. All dogs older than four months old must be licensed.
