The Department of Public Works (DPW) consists of three full-time staff and one part-time staff. This highly dedicated crew is responsible for maintaining the City streets, sidewalks, and public right-of-ways. This includes keeping City roadways and sidewalks clear of snow and ice.

The DPW is also responsible for installing all municipal water meters and maintaining the municipal water and sewer system. Water meters are read on a quarterly basis by DPW staff.

The Community Center Park Gazebo and Broadway Avenue streetscape, along with the many parks throughout the City are maintained by the DPW. It is their responsiblity to make sure that the parks and other City-owned property remains well-kept.
